A highly celebrated chihuahua with an incredible rags-to-riches story, Maple is an inspiration to many. Abused and abandoned as a young child in San Jose, California, Maple was rescued from a dumpster in the alley behind McDonalds. Airlifted to Vancouver, she promptly received medical care and began working towards a degree in computational neuroscience.
She earned her Canadian citizenship in 2019 and now lives in a spacious apartment in Yaletown where she operates a charity for small dogs struggling to get back on their feet following traumatic incidents. Maple holds a triple black belt in Tae Kwon Do. She has been awarded “Employee of the Month” for twenty-six consecutive months in a row at Dehoco.
